HELP! My betta isn't swimming well!

I posted a thread earlier about fin rot. I have him in 2 gallon with 1 tsp of salt. Now he is not swimming well and is struggling to stay upright and swimming sideways. What is wrong with him?? I don't want him to die! :'(

He was literally 100% fine 2 days ago! I changed the water in a 10 gallon and changed the filter pad. I'm assuming the filter pad made the water ammonia level spike and it killed 2 other fish. I put him in the hospital tank and then two days later this happens :(

Yes it could be a swim bladder problem. What type of pellets are you feeding him ? You can use Espom salt, the unscented type and its one teaspoon per gallon and dissolve it in some warm water before adding it to his tank

It's possible. Did you overfeed him lately?
Try fasting him for a day and keep an eye out for poop. Is it white stringly or is it a brown cinnamon bun looking thing. You can also try 1 teaspoon per gallon of PLAIN EPSOM SALT. This can be used long term if need be as its not as harsh on the internal organs as aquarium salt.

can he still swim around or is it more like he is just being pushed around by a current? Im not sure how to explain what I am trying to ask any better...

also - chec out this thread and the video in it
