Please tell me they cant!

Ok so I was feeding my betta and I was shaking the flakes and pellets and the top came off and a bunch of flakes pured into the bowl. I'm changing the water tonight anyway but will Mr.Bubbles overeat? I remember reading something like they can't but I'm not sure. Any help would be appreciated.

You could use the net to take the flakes out.

He either will and get constipated, and/or swim bladder disorder, or he wont and they will pollute the water and he will become very unhealthy
