Emerald cory's in a planted aquarium

Will emerald cories uproot plants in a planted aquarium? They are 3" and I am afraid if I make my 29 gallon into a planted tank that they would uproot them doing their whattchumacallit in the tank.

I have had 6 corys (3 meleni and 3 punctatus) in my 29g planted tank, and they've never uprooted anything. They've been in there a few months now. I'd say give it a shot! :)
