Sand

I'm considering using sand in my betta's new tank, but I'd like to know how it'll look. I know with my pleco the sand got disgustingly dirty and looked terrible. Do bettas poop so much that the poop becomes a problem aesthetically? Or is it only a bit so that you can barely notice it; even on white sand.

I have sand with my plecos/snails and yeah, messy. I do alot of gravel vaccuming

With just a betta, it wont be nearly as bad. Especially if you got a brownish colored sand. Mine is like..light grey sand

I have and with my cories and you don't notice a mess. Go with black sand and it will be less noticeable.
