Symptoms and Treatment
How has your betta fish's appearance changed? 2 of my 4 Bettas are a year old and those are the ones with the sticking fins. They were in a tiny tank under bad conditions prior to December. Both are males and veil tails. Their fins have been stuck together since they had a case of what I thought was fin rot. I treated it and they showed no more symptoms aside from the fins sticking. I know it's not the water conditions because I've had 2 younger Bettas in the same tank and their fins are in mint condition since December.
How has your betta fish's behavior changed? Has not changed. They are happy and active.
When did you start noticing the symptoms? They've had their fins like that since before December.
Have you started treating your fish? If so, how? I treated them for fin rot in December.
Does your fish have any history of being ill? Yes.
How old is your fish (approximately)? A little over a year.

I'm wondering if this may just be a permanent effect of having such horrible case of fin rot that they had back in December.

Here are their photos.

The blue one breaks my heart. He had such beautiful fins when he was younger and you can tell it impacts his swimming.
Thanks for your help.

Are they like bunching together at the ends? They looked fine in the pics but maybe some tail biting.

Well when the blue one flares his fins don't spread at all. They just seem as if they are stuck together. Especially the dorsal fins. And the yellow one has his fins stuck together in spots on the bottom. Like folds that don't come undone. It's just odd and not normal.
