Halo died

Today was the wost day ever,Halo died today.I woke up this morning and she was on the floor. It was very devistating to my fish.Pearl is always darting across the tank back and forth,back and forth,back and forth.so that was all i wanted to tell you guys.Thats exactly what happened to my brothers betta Ruby.Its always the females that do that.

*sigh* that stinks, sorry. Definitely make sure you have a lid on your bettas from now on, they are known to jump!

My guess is the females do it more often because they are not so hindered by long ornamental fins, so they can get up more speed and jump further.

Awwww, That's too bad.

I gave a fish to my best friend, and I made a lid out of plastic cnvas for it, and the fish would leap up, and hit the lid over and over till the lid came off. (Yes, it was a female)

yeah i know im thinking about getting this all pink female that i saw online.but i dont want it to jump out again.and halo did have a lid.i dont know how she got out though.but i might replace her with a male.

Yeah, he did say that he had a lid on this one :( Perhaps it had a hole or something. Silly, tricky fish!

i had actually put halo in the 45 gallon with graphic,but i think she jumped out of the part where the filter sits.
