can you put a betta in with an angle fish in a 50 gal. tank?

Hi everyone, I'm Debbie,
New here to the forum but what I've read so far, you guys are with it on bettas.

I've had other bettas in 5gal tanks with neons and pacos and in the 20 gal tank with corys, catfish, pacocats and other calm fish. But I just got a new betta and want to put it in the 50gal tank so I can set and watch it more than I could the others. I've moved since I've had a betta and all I have in the livingroom is a 50 and a 46. The 46 is full of ciclids and they would eat him for lunch. I love watching them. They have alot of chararter and fits when they get mad.

Anyway ,I want to put my beta in the living room too.

Anyone?

Anyone Know if the betta and the angle will get along?

Angels and Bettas shouldn't be placed together. One will rip the other to shreds eventually. The long fins on the Angel remind the male betta of another male betta, and an aggresive Angelfish will tear the male up. Even thought he tank is somewhat big, I still wouldn't attempt it.

Why not move the betta and his tank to the Living room?

I thought that might happen too but had to ask someone who knew for sure. The angle has already killed another angle, so he thinks the top part of the tank is his.

I've tried to find room for the 20 gal tank the betas in but might can make enough room for the 5 gal tank I have my baby corys in .

I agree ..No Angels with the Betta..

I don't have experience with angel fish but I would think that based on everyone else's advice, it just wouldn't be worth the risk.
