Is Slime Coat Infection contagious

and transmittable? Bertha is alone in QT but not sure if anyone else caught it. I got her out because she was clamping her fins even though her appetite was "berth-like". Then I noticed the slime coat was obviously infected 2 days later.

Slime coat issues are a symptom, not a cause. So it all depends on what's causing it.

If you suspect the problem is caused by something like parasites, bacteria or a fungus, then yes, it would be contagious.
