Betta age- Aquabid

I've been browsing around Aquabid for a new male betta, and I'm looking for one that's quite young. Most of the posts I've seen say that their bettas are between 3-4 months old (which I want) but the pictures show males with very well developed finnage, which doesn't seem right for such a young betta. Can anyone tell their ages more accurately than I? Has anyone run into this problem before?

Hmm...maybe they're clip-on fins?

I've heard the camera puts on a few extra rays, as well.

well from what it looks like they just zoomed in a lot. plus the betta's body looks small so maybe its just the camera being zoomed in that makes it look that way. :)

That last fish is only 11 weeks old, so I guess it's possible (if the fish is going to develop some *really* impressive finnage) that they'd have fins as impressive as those in the photos you found at 12-14 weeks of age.

yea but i dont think it takes that long for a betta to reach its adult size
