Bloated?

Hi all,
Does my fishy look a little bloated?
He poops regularly but I have noticed there hasn't been as much the last few weeks.
Pics attached :)
Thanks

He does look a little bloated. You might fast him for a couple of days and maybe add some epsom salt to his tank. Even if he's not constipated, it shouldn't hurt him.

Yes, he looks a little bloated. What are you feeding him, and how much? As suggested, you may want to fast him for a day or two.

Actually, unsure where you guys are seeing bloating.. that isn't bloating at all. A slight rounded tummy is ideal and normal and very healthy. Especially after eating the belly should have roundness to it...

He goes to the bathroom regularly then there is no reason at all to use Epsom Salt.

If you want to fast him you can.. but honestly your fish is just fine.

Can't help you out with a feeding routine as you didn't list what you feed and how much, but at this point he looks to be a healthy, sturdy betta.

I just thought he was looking a little chubby but wasnt 100% sure...
I feed him NLS betta food - 3 pellets, twice a day and fast him on sunday.

he is regular, i guess just like ppl sometimes he poops more sometimes less :)

3 NLS betta formula twice a day won't cause any bloating issues.. I feed more than that at once to a lot of mine with no problems :) But your amount is just fine and healthy.. he looks like a healthy boy! Good coloring, fins look good for a VT, nice stocky body :)

Oh thats good to hear!
maybe he just needed to poop at the time that i noticed he was looking chubby :)

do u think his fins are ok?
i think they look a bit ratty, but i can see new growth all the time.

This is my first betta so i am obsessed with him!
