bloated baby?

I think this buddy is about 6 weeks old or so. His name is Hyperion. I read somewhere that you were supposed to feed babies more frequently and I think I went a little overboard.

I recently had a betta die of constipation and swim bladder disease (and by recent I mean yesterday), so I'm a little concerned about this guy. Does it look like he has an extreme amount of bloating that could possibly be dangerous? Or is it something a day or two of fasting can't fix?

What size is your tank? 2.5G
What temperature is your tank? a steady 74
Does your tank have a filter? no
Does your tank have an air stone or other type of aeration? no
Is your tank heated? yes
What tank mates does your betta fish live with? He's a baby being housed with another baby betta till we can figure out better living arrangements, They seem to be leaving each other alone.

What type of food do you feed your betta fish? Aqueon Pellets
How often do you feed your betta fish? Once in the morning, once at night. 3 pellets

How often do you perform a water change? Two 50% and one 100% a week
What percentage of the water do you change when you perform a water change?
What type of additives do you add to the water when you perform a water change? Conditioner

Water Parameters:
Have you tested your water? If so, what are the following parameters?

Symptoms and Treatment
How has your betta fish's appearance changed? slightly bloated
How has your betta fish's behavior changed? no
When did you start noticing the symptoms? last night
Have you started treating your fish? If so, how? Fasting him today
Does your fish have any history of being ill? no
How old is your fish (approximately)? 6 or 7 weeks old

74 is quite cold. You want it to be about 78, but I would recommend 80 for babies. Aqueon isn't great... Lots of filler, which is a major contributed to bloat. I would switch to new life spectrum (personal favorite) or omega one.

He/she does not look to bloated to me... Fix the two things I said above and you should be fine. Also, you might want to increase water changes to mitigate the effects of the stunt hormone that is released from babies.
