Egg dropping?

I have a pair that I've conditioned for a while. The female is plump, the male built a big nest, she is showing vertical stripes and is submissive (although she won't approach the nest). I had to be away from the house most of the day today so I moved the female out of reach from the male but where they could still see each other. She has dropped a lot of her eggs and eats them. I've seen this before with other pairs but I was wondering if it means anything in particular. She is still pretty plump ^^;

If females could see the male, she will "ripen" and release her eggs. Her still being plump is because she hasn't released all of her eggs. She has 2 egg sacks. Only one will be emptied during each spawn.
