bubbles

My betta seems to blow bubbles which resides on the surfaces of the water.....these bubbles have collected in the corner of my fish bowl and just wondering what i need to put in the water to make the bubbles dissapear if they're harming my fish. Also does this mean my fish has gas or what...

it is a totally good sign if you have these bubbles. it is a bubblenest which your betta has blown to show he is happy/healthy and ready for a lady friend. but just cuz he has one doesnt mean he needs a mate but just shows he is ready.
congradulations on the happy and healthy betta. may he have a long happy life :D

(and the bubblenest itself is specialy designed for holding the female eggs before they hatch.)

It's probably a male plakat- not a female.

it's a female crowntail
there have been bubbles twice in the month i've had it.

it kinda confuses me.
i'm gonna go look up pictures of bubble nests to see if thats what it is. or if my fish is just weird.

no, its nto as much bubbles as a bubble nest, its scattered bubbles around most of the water surface.
