I recently lost a betta to dropsy, and it's quite upsetting that I'm posting here again about it.
I have a 10 month old female betta who has recently become rather bloated. I did some more research on dropsy, because my previous betta who got dropsy had spent some time like that, but then went back to normal size, but then suddenly had pineconed. So I've done some more research and I've gotten 3 results. She's bloated because she's full of eggs, she's eaten to much and might be constipated (although she does poop and eats well), or she has dropsy. I was wondering what other symptoms there might be, all I keep finding is that they become bloated, and if it's highly contagious because she currently shares the tank with her sibling.
And if so, is there anything different I might need to do when I clean their tank to make sure none of the other fish get it (they share the tank with 3 cory cats)?
