Is this Shrimp poo?

I thought my driftwood was shedding because of all the tiny black dots on the floor of the tank and on the leaves of my plants. It has 1 amano in there.

I am setting up a 10g and have just added 10 RCSs and now there tiny black dots of something all over the leaves. --See photo --

My third tank with no shrimp, but 4 endlers doesn't have the black dots.

Soo, am I to assume that it's shrimp poo? Whatever it is, it blows off the leaves.
