question about cory cats

hello guys long time no visit

i know lots of people keep cory cats with their bettas but ive been doing some reading up on cories before i toss a few in my tank.
ive been reading their water temp should be around 72-76. anything higher is not every good for them long term. now, because i know we all love our bettas, the betta temp is bit higher than that. and in my case, way higher. any of you guys or gals have problems with keeping cories alive long term in higher temps. unlike the betta, cories can live 10+ years, maybe 15+ years.

here a picture of the king for your viewing pleasure

Hi there! I've had my 33 at around 78 degrees (whilst not battle Ich) and my little dwarf cories seem to actually enjoy it. They are very active, eating all the time and swimming. Although I haven't seen it in a long term setting just quite yet, they all seem to be doing fine as far as I can tell :) He's a beautiful Betta btw :D

I did notice my cories seem more active when the water is a bit cooler.. My tank is a tetra tank so I run it about 76

Yeah he should be fine, I keep most of mine at 78 anyway unless medicating/treating.

I have my tank at 80, and my corys are pretty boring...to be honest. They just hang out amonst the plants in the back of the tank unless it's at night or feeding time. Other than that, they are healthy and doing well...I've only had them about 2 months though.
