Need some advice about my female betta

So the other day I noticed that my female betta, KJ, looked a little bigger than before. At first I thought she was bloated, but after some research I figured out she's just full of eggs. It's been a few days since I noticed and I was wondering how long it would take her to ether expel or absorb the eggs. Any advice?

Just leave her be. If she is not in a divided tank with a male (which can cause her to be egg bound... which also does not happen all the time however) there should not be a large chance of her getting sick. It also varies amongst females with how long it takes them to reabsorb or expel the eggs. You may see her slim out a little or a lot, and her poo may become white - so don't panic :)

Okay. Thanks. How could I tell if she does become egg bound?

That one someone else has to answer because I never had that problem.

Egg bound can look similar to these pictures: http://www.bettafish.com/showthread.php?t=77932
But that can also be a very eggy female. To help them pass eggs, flare them using a mirror, or even try feeding frozen daphnia or use epsom salt. BUT only do this if she acts differently (lethargic, not eating, etc) to see if it will help.
