ShadowSnail: the best snail on the planet

Here are some pictures of my little gastropod. He is full of so much personality and I have friends that always say how funny he is.

PS: I know they're hermaphrodites, I just like calling it a he :)

He loves photos and algae wafers. I would honestly recommend these guys for a young child (or a cheap college student!) as a pet. They are sooooo much fun and make great tank mates for bettas.

what kind of snail is that?

Apples, Mysteries, and trapdoor are male OR female, it's generally the smaller ones like ponds and rams that are both.

It's a Mystery. A black one. Such a worthwhile buy!

The one of him facing the camera reminds me of Cthulhu.......

And I wonder if my black mystery will ever look like this.

Like Skywillow said, mystery snails have both female and male genders. I am no expert on snail anatomy so I couldn't tell you what gender yours is.
