Hi! I was wondering if this is what a bubble nest is. It looks smaller than other pictures I've seen, so I wanted to ask just to see if it was just random bubbles instead of a nest. Thanks!
i think the betta will work on gathering them into a larger patch. how old is your betta?
is he seeing a female close by?
if the tank covered and humid?
my 1 month Petco Baby's first nest this week. Before the bubbles were like your photo.
My Betta was an adult when I got him about a week ago from PetCo. I'm always cold so my apartment stays close to 80 degrees. There's no female close, but I did show him a mirror. He started blowing bubbles pretty soon after that. I know the bubble nest means he is content, so I was hoping it was a sign he's happy!
actually I read it is not necessarily a reflection of their emotional state because they really do not have emotions which I disagree...
but he is moving towards fatherhood for sure with bubbles =D
Good to hear! I guess either way you look at it-- it's probably not a bad thing. Thanks!
