Is Flicker a copper?!

This is Flicker... He's one of my rescue babies. The other night I was watching him and realized he has gotten very shiny! Is he a dragon scale copper HM? Does such a thing exist?!
This pic he looks scared to death poor guy

Here's a better one :)

He does have a very shiny metallic shine to him. I would say he is a copper but I'm not an expert. Beautiful by the way!

Yep he is a copper but not a dragon. Really pretty boy too. Difficult to tell if he is a halfmoon unless you have a photo of him at full flare (a HM tail spread must reach 180 degrees) he is either HM or super delta.

I was told he was a dragon cuz of his rough spots on his head? Oh well
and he could be a super delta! OMG! That would be amazing! Ill have to try to get him to flare... he doesnt seem to often even with a mirror hes too focused on me)
If I could get him to flare could you tell me for sure?

No sorry not a dragon, I will include a picture of one of my dragon boys for reference for you. Yep if you can get me a photo of him at full flare (from the side of his body the dorsal fin is not overlapping his tail so that I can see the two edges of his tail) I can tell you if he is a HM/super delta. A HM has a 180 degree spread super deltas have 160-179 degree spread.

Well going by that photo he is a super delta but I am not sure if he is quite at full flare and it can be hard to get them to get worked up enough to full flare......... It is likely that his head just "looks" like there are soft and rough patches.......his colouring makes it look like that....I have bettas that look like that but it is only an optical illusion unless you can actually see lumps sticking out I would say he is quite normal (in an exceptionally nice way of course)
