Again, I would reccommend bettatalk.com, if you haven't checked it out already. This is a website put together by a woman who is a breeder and she knows everything about breeding and raising fry.

Oh I've been and checked out that site... it is sucha wealth of knowledge.... I will definately be keeping these two apart for awhile yet

IMHO that breeder just talks herself up a lot, and her methods are not the only ones. Most of the discussion among people who show bettas and such is that hers aren't particularly well bred. It's definitely helpful how detailed she can be, but make sure she isn't your only source.

Well......depends. Do you want the female torn to shreds or not? If not I'd suggest leaving the divider where it is :)
