I have a rosetail and his fins were about the size of your boys when I first bought him....now they are like double the size. Surprisingly he swims quite well and is the only betta that I have that has not blown their fins flaring....I have HM's with much smaller fins than him and they are in tatters from flaring too much. Just depends on the fish I think.

Awesome, hes a strong swimmer so he shouldnt have any issues in future life He has also taken to flaring at. well.. nothing really, just cruises past flaring away hes really coming out of his shell now his water chemistry is getting alot better!
