Question So... Is this "normal" behaviour? xD

So Tiny Tina/Gay Tony is a spaz. Pure and simply is just an absolute spaz. Thing is the behaviour seems so abnormal. See, he/she is very sedate most of the time. Loves sitting on the rocks and exploring the tank, and hiding behind stuff...

That is until...

HE/SHE SEES SOMEONE'S FACE.

Not even kidding you, this betta flips if someone's face is visible. I can be on the couch beside the tank, and out the corner of my eye I can see him/her flitting about happy and gracefully... Then if I turn my head to face him/her, BAM. This fish starts flipping s*** and surfing frantically up and down the glass like it wants to eat my face off.

I'm going to try and take a video of it, but if I have my phone in between my face and him/her, he/she calms right down, so I'm going to have to try and set up my phone recording beside my head...

So... What gives? o.o;

"Hi! Gots any food for me?"

I just don't know. I've had excitable fish but this one is like a cat on crack.

Yep that's normal behavior! I have one that spazzes way more than the others but they all go a little nuts when they see me approach their tanks.

LMAO!!! I'd say that's about right. All my bettas react that way when they see me. Even my newest betta started it after the first day! He new exactly which corner of the tank the food was going to come from too and parks himself there whenever I walk by.
