Moving with my fish and possibly putting them in a divided tank?

At the end of the week I am moving. I will be taking all three of my bettas with me of course and was wondering if I should put them in their cups to travel or just empty their tanks to about halfway and leave them in them? Their tanks are between 1.5-2 gallons each.

Also, once I get to my new house I was thinking about maybe putting them in a divided tank. They are all healthy at the moment and dont have any health problems. What should I think about before putting them in a divided tank? Ive never done that, they've always been seperate. Thank you!

How big is the divided tank you're considering?
If you're going to do that, make sure there are some plants or decorations in between the dividers so they're not always looking at each other.
It may reduce their stress levels.

Moving them in their tanks filled 1/2 up sounds better than a cup.
How far away are you moving?

The drive isnt too far, its about 1.5 hours. The tank i would divide is 5 gallons. if i do that i may just put two of them in it and leave the other in his own that way it wouldnt be suvh small spaces for them. The thing im mostly worried about is that if one happens to get sick i wouldnt want the other one to get sick.

They should be good then.
Are both tanks heated/filtered?

Also, if one starts to look as if he's sick, just quickly remove him from the tank, QT in a hospital tank, and do a 100% water change on the 5 gallon.
They should be good.
