Good news and bad news {update on the boys}

So, recently I posted a thread of fog in my crappy 2.65 gallon tank and my poor elephant ear seemingly suffering from it.

Rather then solve the problem, I purchased an entirely new tank! I bought a ten gallon, a devider and of course- a new betta.

He is a beuatiful halfmoon (my fave) and I got him becuase he has an odd grey/silver spot on his head? It doesn't look fuzzy...

Well, Diablo is alive and kicking it! I think hes getting a bit jealous about all these new fish lol

The "fog" was likely a bacteria bloom, often called "New Tank Syndrome". 2.65 gallons is not a bad size for a lone betta. If you experience it again, there are ways to increase the time for it to clear up.
