Question What's the difference between......

A Fancy and a Dragon?

Someone can correct me if my definitions are wrong, but a dragonscale (I'm assuming that's what you meen by a dragon, correct me if I'm wrong ) has thick, iridescent scales while a "fancy" seems to be a term that's being used for bettas whose coloring or pattern doesn't otherwise have a name. For example:
A dragonscale betta:


A betta that could be called fancy:


And for the heck of it, a fancy dragonscale:


(None of these fish are mine - they're all from the "fish I wish I had" file on my computer. If any of these fish are owned by someone on here and would like credit or want these pictures removed, please say so and I'd be happy to comply)
