Red face day 3 of accidental fish-in cycling

I made an oopsie. Having never had a new aquarium, i fully stocked my ten gallon without cycling it. :(
I have my daughters betta, and 3 Corey cats in it.

Anyway, read some good info on here, and am doing my very best for a safe fish in cycle. So far so good. Did a 50% water change today. Fish are very happy and active. Tank pretty clear. Im waiting on a master test kit, my husband is bringing me one after work tomorrow morning.
Wish me luck, and feel free to offer me some advice. This tank is for my 2 daughters and I've grown rather attached to our little fishies as well so id be very sad if they died because of my mistake with the brand new tank.

Hey, at least you realized in time! A fish in cycle is a perfectly fine method, just male sure you are keeping your parameters in check with enough water changes! Good luck!

Thanks! You know, if I hadn't come across this site looking for the correct water temp for a betta, id have never realized and probably lost all the fish!
