Haha. Is it an addiction when you have to hide your 'habit' from your family? I used to smuggle bettas home from the cruddy pet store near where I used to work in my bag. Usually took a couple of days before I fessed up or mum spotted my new arrival.

Now all my fish look mostly the same she can't tell when I get more.

I saw a HMPKEE today at Petsmart labeled as a normal PK betta. Oh how I was so tempted to snag that boy off the shelf... ;w;

It was so hard to say no... but the only tank I have needs to be rid of disease from my last rescue and my mother would kill me if I brought another guy home.

It is very,very hard.every time I go to our petstore (which is about once a week) I could SO easily walk out with another betta.They are just too cute.Every time I go I say to myself that I won't look at the bettas,but I can't help it.But I have to be serious with myself & know that my 3 little boys are very good for me.For me 3 is perfect as I can give the right amount of care,time and attention to them,plus I have run out of proper space too.If I got a 4th I would just want a 5th and a 6th etc etc etc,and I have to be strict with myself that it is just not possible at the moment.I must be very content with the 3 wonderful little boys I have,which I am. But yes,I definitely agree that it is extremely hard walking away from those little faces.
