I said I wouldn't but I did.

I couldn't I just couldn't!!!

I was going to get a really supper pretty one that stole my heart, it was in perfect condition mind you... but then...

I saw him or her... and it looked at me with those cute little eyes... well they all did... but I couldn't take them all home with me...

So if you haven't guessed by now... I brought home a baby betta... A little poor baby betta.

He ( it looks like a boy) is a double tail with what looks like some crown tailing going on. ventral's are red.

The body is a pink pearlized color, it has lavender metallic on him. His fins are pinky purple reddish color.

Right now He is in the tank with all my baby platy fry that are around his size...

Right now I am calling him BB short for Baby betta for now. I am not 100% sure that hes a boy so I am going to hold off on the name.

He she is all most a half inch big...

I will post picks of him and his platy baby tank mates be cute together.

Also I will do a bb journal.

I am feeding her the same way I feed my baby platies.

Its ground up very finely. Its a combo of ( Tropical fish flake food, tropical premium fish food, shrimp, blood worms, betta pellets, and a tiny peace of algae wafer. Its mostly made up of the betta pellets, blood worms, shrimp, and the flakes.)

I some times just feed the ground shrimp strait or just all most powder bloodworms.

I also still feed them 4-8 times a day.

( its ground that way because I have 50% dwarf platy fry and there mouths are about the size of bb's)

Ok. I would recommend trying feeding crushed new life spectrum or omega one but your mix, will probably work...

I also plan on putting some Omega one flake food in the mix too. Since we picked that up for finegan my adult betta who still doesn't like pellet food that much.
