Question quick question

yesterday I brought home a female betta with ammonia poisoning. right now I have her in a 1.5 gallon tank. I just found a probably 3-3.5 gallon tank that I could use for her, could I put my snail and its live plant with her? will it better her? and should I do it now or after the ammonia poisoning is gone?

What kind of snail? Mystery snails are recommended to have aminimum of 2g-2.5g per snail so a 3g tank would be right on the edge IMO. Personally I would not put anything in the 3g other than the Betta.
