Free African Dwarf Frogs (Canada)

Hello,

My 2 ADFs, Haste and Patience just can't seem to live
with either of my bettas. I've seen them strike at Solus,
and Moon's fins are tattered. i'm pretty sure it's just Haste (the female)
that's doing all the attacking, but I don't have anymore extra tanks
without bettas in them that I can separate/put them in.

So I'm giving them away for free, no shipping fees need to be paid or anything.
I would really prefer to ship them within Alberta, but anywhere in Canada is ok too.

Haste is female
Patience is male.

They're in perfect condition.
Eat out of hands/tweezers, and after a couple days they'll
become less shy and start swimming/drifting. They really are
very cute, but for me, it's bettas first.

They need a good home, so please be aware of how to take
proper care of them!

Also, since I am paying for the frogs, shipping, etc, I will be picky as to who gets them, and if they're trustworthy. If I choose you, I'll probably just ask to see/hear about your available supplies, tanks, heaters, etc.

Anyone recommend any good companies to ship them off with?

Lots of pictures!

{Patience's feeding hole, I feed him bloodworms there. whenever he's hungry he just goes to the hole, really adorable!}

If you would still like to see more pictures, please click here to look at the album.

Thanks for your interest!

Please don't be offended if I don't choose you right away. I have no favourites
I just really want to be sure of who I'm giving them to.

Hey there! I have been interested in ADF's for a while, being a huge frog fan and I might be able to take them. I have a snail tank they might be able to live in or a planted 20 gal, or lots or other betta tanks. I take very good care of my animals and am always looking for more interesting critters. Where are you in Alberta?

Dangint why do you have to be in Canada >.<

I use to have an ADF named Bilbo Froggins and since his passing haven't wanted to simply 'replace' him. But I am moving all my males into a barracks system and it's leaving me with a 5 gallon tank I would have loved to have put those two in. Unfortunately I am in MN T.T

Good luck finding them a new home, I wish them the best of luck. They are cute little frogs.

I also do have an empty 10 gal I could divide, they could go in half and a betta in the other half. What do you recommend?

I had the same trouble with ADF and betta as Mar is having.
It was too bad because I liked the ADFs a lot but bettas got torn up and frogs were chased and bit by the betta as well.
Im not experienced with frogs and may have done things wrong. I would use fed-ex to ship them myself as had some big trouble with other shippers like Canada Post.

Okay sounds like they should have their own tank. Could they share with the snails? They are apple snails.

Yes, I would recommend keeping them separated from bettas, but they seemed fine with my mystery/apple snails, so just keep
up with the water changes!

I live in Calgary, if you do too hopefully, I'd really prefer to meet up somewhere instead of shipping them!

Thanks for the suggestion LogisticsGuy, I'll check out FedEx.

I don't live in Calgary... Sorry. Weather is nice they should be fine. If you choose of to ship them to me that is fine. But I would be happy if you did!

Hmmm it is nice, guess I won't be needing a heat pack (?)
And just curious, what part of AB do you live in?
