So he didn't make it through the night when I suspected he had either of these 4 scenarios:
-Swim bladder problem
-Vertical Death Hang
I went to sleep at 3.30am, looking at him till I couldn't anymore.
He was just hanging on the surface of the water, gasping for air when I last saw him.
At 6am I woke up and the first thing I did was to go and check on him,
only to find him dead at the bottom of the tank, on one side of its belly and not moving. (Not a belly-flop)
I feel sorry for him as I couldnt do a thing when I found him with his symptoms.
It wasn't overeating, constipation or a SBP (all of which I hoped to be before I went to sleep) and I hoped and prayed for his recovery.
It was Vertical Death Hang, the worst-case-scenario that when occurred, the fish dies in a few hours.
I do hope you enjoy the Rainbow Bridge, Rivaille. Even when I only had you around for 2 days.
Ghostery loves you!
