New to the betta world*

I am new to owning betta's and just bought two at petCo (the baby betta's) I know see on this site that they do not have very healthy fish but i was caught by the cuteness! so now I am the proud owner of two betta fry. my "uneducated guess" is that one is a boy and one is a girl, we shall see. look at my pics and tell me what you think of my new little peeps

So my guess after studying some pictures is that I have a female multicolored Vail and male doublefin dragon, look at my pics and let me know what you think please. Thanks

I think you are right except the female will turn mostly blue and the male might not be a dragon scale. Both are very cute! Keep the ammonia at 0 and they should be OK.

bettatinker I am so sorry to hear that, I am sure you gave her the best of care..Hugs These little babies can be difficult to care for and in my opinion should not be sold as young as they are. How is the other one doing ?

I was so excited when I saw betta fry at the store but now I see that they are not doing right by the fish or the unknowing new betta owners. My other one (I think maybe a boy) is doing great. His name is Swarley and he is so cute. He is the white and red one. He is very interactive with me and even knows when its time for breakfast haha. I think he is a dt dragon.
