Help me please! (PLEASE LOOK AT THIS!!!)

I have a betta named Misty. After she got used to me, she would be very energetic. I've had her for five months and she has been perfectly healthy. But today when I cleaned her tank, she stopped moving. All she did was move her eyes to look at me. I don't know what to do!!!

how did u clean the tank did u remove the fish use a gravel vacuum how much did u change did you make sure to treat the water as well as ensure the temperatures were the same?

I took out my fish with a net and poured out all the water. Then I took out the stuff and scrubbed them as usual then I put everything back in and put tap water in the tank. Then I poured in a chemical called betta plus, which is supposed to make the water safe for bettas. I put my fish back into the tank but she didn't really move when I put her back on her shelf.

I put her in another tank, so she wasn't out of the water while I was cleaning her tank.

not other than the temp change your not supposed to do a complete water change where you clean all the gravel etc...you are prolly having ammonia and nitrates which can hurt bettas some will survive the cycle some wont
