Edward has sometihng wrong with his eye! HELP!

First off, I have five gallon tank, with a few small plants, a statue, and of course edward, and his little danio friends,


Yesterday morning, i woke up and he had this huge white bubble thingy covering most of his eye, so i put some bettafix in to see if anything would happen... and it didnt.. I have no earthly clue whats wrong... please help

Firstly, i would do a 25% water change and then i would treat again, Is it a solid white bubble or cotton wool type growth ??

I know this does not look right at all and if he hasn't swam into anything that could have caused the damage then it could be a bacterial problem, you will need to tell them what size tank you have, and the water state, ie: Nitrite, Ammonia, Ph and Nitrate.

Is it something covering his eye, or the eye itself popping out?

From the pictures it looks like it may be popeye. You can get medication for this if it is caused by bacteria, or it will go down on its own if it is injury related.

It not fuzzy or anything, its just a cloudy looking bubble.. I can still see his eye through it a bit... although both eyes (especially that one) look cloudy
