help my fish is bleeding

My poor betta is bleeding out of the top of his head. there's nothing sharp in his tank and I don't know how it's happened. I noticed a while ago he had a lighter mark on the top of his head and lately it's been getting bigger. Tonight it looked like something was covering it like a soft scab, and now there's red blood coming out. I don't know what I've done wrong. Can anyone help me?[/img]

If you can get bigger and more clear pictures so we can help you out.

But use some melafix in the mean time and keep up good water quality.

Can you post your water parameters? Such as ammonia, nitrites, and nitrates?
