He finally started a bubble nest today, 10 days after I got him! I'd really been worried that he hadn't made one yet, but I guess he was just settling in. I actually saw him blowing one of the bubbles and wish I could catch that on film. :)

His mask, by the way, is really filling in, as you can see by comparing this picture to my avatar. I suppose he still might be considered a "bad marble" for show purposes, but I personally think any rule that wouldn't label him stunning is ludicrous. :)

I think it's gorgeous when red cambodians have dazzling blue eyes. I see them every so often around here. Good genetics. :)

Would this be considered a red Cambodian? It's not listed that way on Aquabid. It's a pretty combination with blue eyes!

That same seller--Beaverbetta--also has a lighter one that is maybe even prettier. :)

I've found that a lot of my bettas' eyes match their scale color. Case in point:

Lol, yea. I thought it was weird that there were two colors. Bettas are so cool when it comes to their eye color. I think it makes them have even more of little personalities. :P

My bettas have mutlicolored eyes. I think the dragon scaling is taking over. She might go blind due to it ...
