Haha, nice one Fishy Mom. I don't know why he does it either.

I don't see it fall through his gills (although it still might). I can try giving him something new, or increasing the number of pellets I give him. Hopefully if he's more full he won't eat the sand.

It is far easier to see grains of sand fall through the gills than it is to see them taken into its mouth.

What are you currently feeding?
