Two in one week...

It always seems that bad things with my fish come in strings. I lost my doubletail about a month ago and now, I've lost my favourite veiltail and an imported HMPK this week.

I went away for a few days, really I was only gone fully for two. I left Thursday and all was well and I came back Sunday night to a pretty much unresponsive HMPK and a VT that could barely swim. Both were immediately floated in smaller containers. I lost my HMPK overnight Sunday. My VT was doing well all week until Friday night when he started to pinecone. He was slowly getting worse but I kept trying and he just passed away within the last couple hours. The little guy was still trying to swim when he saw me this afternoon. That's the hard part. He tried eating last night and was consistently responsive until he died. He was so unexpected
