Lol that's fine, I know I'm not always right.

But try a different pellet. My Betta's didn't like Aqueon and Topfin brand Pellet foods but they love New Life Spectrum!

I'm just trying to help, you did post a question and most of us on this thread did answer your questions. Now, if you don't want to take the answers, that's fine too, no need to worry about that. But just know that what you are doing isn't going to help your Betta.

I'm very sorry if anything is offensive as it is not meant to be. I certainly want to help and I know everyone else on here does :) Good luck with your little boy and I hope things get better soon.

I'm very sorry, my parents also divorced.

I'm not asking you to buy a thousand different types of food, just maybe one high quality pellet. I can guarantee that he will love NLS, it's got garlic in it which Betta's absolutely love. But one high quality pellet is going to take your Betta from zero to 8 out of 10 in just a few days of feeding.

Hello and welcome to the forum. I would recommend feeding him a good pellet food like Omega one or New Life Spectrum for his main diet. I also recommend feeding frozen daphnia for his constipation. Try fasting for 2 to 3 days then feed the daphnia.
edit : I'm sorry, I just saw ghat you said that money was tight. If you can't get frozen daphnia just try fasting for a few days but cut down on the flakes and freeze dried food.
