New betta!

Hi!

I just got a new betta yesterday from petco, I didn't have a ton of money, but I got him a 1.5 gallon tank. I have 2 concerns about my new betta.

He's red and sometimes he looks black, but there's a bit of black at the tip of his tail, Is this fin rot? Also, He has a transparent line through his tail, kind of like he had fin rot and his tail grew back. Should I be concerned? He's very active

OK, also, When I went to petco, the label said he was a plain veiltail betta, but I think he's a delta tail, because his tail looks nothing like my other betta's tail.

ALSO, I have a one gallon tank for my other betta, Sushi and I took him out and put him in the bigger tank because he's a bigger fish and I figured he would like the space. He acted all depressed, he wouldn't swim out and let me see him, he hid in the plants, and he didn't eat, and I didn't see him all night. When I woke up this morning, he was still hiding, so I decided to switch him back into his old tank and put the new fish in the new tank. Apparently, he likes this a lot better. Don't they usually like more space? I felt so bad for both my fish, because switching them is so stressful.

Is my betta a veiltail or a delta tail, also, is this fin rot? And what should I do about my other fish?

Congrats on the new betta. He looks like a spadetail to me, because the tail looks spade-shaped. He's beautiful! The black on his tail doesn't look like finrot to me, it looks like just part of his coloring. His fins don't appear to be torn or frayed. If he's happy in his original tank then I'd leave him there.

OK thanks! I LOVE both of my fish so much! I'm SO glad he's not sick. Are spade tails a new kind of betta? I've never heard of them

Its just the shape of the tail. I saw it when I looked up the different tail types. I had never heard of them either. I had never heard of half suns or rosetail either.
