As of 10:00 pm tonight, My Crowntail Betta Ikakku that I had been asking questions about on the forum, passed away. I had him for 13 months and it hurts because I got him one day before I found out that my father was in the hospital with cancer. My father passed the month after I got Ikkaku and his brother Kenpachi. He was so important and had sentimental value to me and now he is gone. This was one of the first pictures I took of him. I will miss him greatly.
i feel tremendously sorry for your loss. You could try to get one just like him but it probably wont feel the same
My crowntail died a week after i got him and my friend had just got one that matched so i was seriously hurt by this. Now i have 5 Bettas and i love all of them.\
Do u still have his brother?
Wow I'm very sorry to hear about both your losses. It sounds a lot like what I went through recently. My uncle was diagnosed with cancer and given a year to live... But 6 weeks later I found myself at the hospital and he had passed away. I went home that night and laid on my bed staring into my fish tank and somehow I managed to see this little fry swimming around. I managed to scoop him up and get him in a fry net but he died like an hour later... I don't know that I believe in reincarnation but it was comforting... Until the fry died too.
I'm so sorry to hear about your losses. You truly care for your fish and that's very obvious. My heart goes out to you.
