88 Degrees?

I read on the care guide the water temp should be between 78 and 86 degrees. I was just wondering is 88 too high? That seems to be about the max temp I get with the heater I have. I haven't gotten a fish yet cause I wanted to see what my heater does. I don't know if that 2 degrees is just too high.

Thanks,
April

Whilst it might be ok for a while to treat ich or the like (my tank used to get that hot in the summer without a heater and my fish were fine), it isn't reccommended as a temperature for the long-term. They'll be much happier in th 78-82 bracket. :)
