Question Plant question

I am woundering in my pond we have a lily pad that can suposedly live in warm tempatures and i was woundering if its ok for a betta it flowers and it provides cover from view above and it requires no maintineses just to be submerged can it or should i get some plants from a store or a breeder

Just for future references, you should post plant questions in the Aquarium Plants section...

Any aquatic plant can be put in any tank, so long as it can survive its temperatures and PH requirements, and whatnot... I'd say that lilypads are definitely a hardy plant, and can be put in most situations, but i'm not so sure as to whether or not you can tropicalise them...
