Amazon sword plantlets

I got three tiny amazon sword planlets in the mail, and I was wondering how to make sure they live. I have them in a 2.5 gallon aquarium so they can grow larger before I transplant them into my 29 gallon aquarium.

Just plant them and they'll be fine. Root tabs are a plus other than that just put it in your substrate and fertilize if you want

Root tabs aren't really needed but its a plus. Ive grown amazon swords with and without root tabs, both lived. I noticed when I pulled out the one with root tabs is the roots were more dense. I have a amazon sword in kitty litter substrate right now (no root tabs)really healthy but the root system is not that dense.

If you want cheap root tabs go to a garden store and get osmocote plus.

If your lighting is good they should outgrow that tank in a couple months maybe less. They are cool when they are small though, more compact.
