Exclamation Leaving for the Weekend

I have a male betta in a 10g tank with a filter, heater, and LED lights.
Also, about a week and a half ago I added an african dwarf frog.

My betta DID NOT LIKE IT... at least at first. He would puff up his gills and attack him everyday. The frog hasn't been hurt (at least I don't see any injuries)
Now my betta only puffs up at him but doesn't charge or attack anymore.

I am going away on Friday evening and coming back Sunday evening.
I read on another thread on this website that bettas can live up to 2 weeks without food so leaving him for 2 days should be fine.

But I also read that apparently this can also make him more aggressive. Is this true? Should I be concerned about leaving them together for the weekend?
I have a small glass fish bowl that I put my betta in to clean the tank. Would it be ok to put the ADF in there for the weekend?

Also, the tank is not in direct sunlight but does get some light. Is it ok to leave the tank light off for the whole weekend? I also read that little light can make them aggressive as well.

Any suggestions are greatly appreciated!!! Thank you!

If you are worried about aggression while you are gone and where you cannot watch over them closely, there would be no harm in putting some tank water into the bowl, and separating the frog and betta for the weekend.

I leave my betta every weekend, and I leave the tank light off, and he is still very docile.

I would not put your frog in the fishbowl - leave him in the ten gallon. If you are worried about aggression, why not get a breeder trap for the betta? He'll still have warm, clean water flowing through, but won't be able to attack the frog. :)
