So I came home

and found him like this :(

How do I fix it? I don't think anything was in there that could have done it. Could he have done it to himself?

I believe they are referring to the shredded look of his fins.

May be one of the plants you have in the tank. Hard to tell without a full shot of your tank. It is quite possible he did it entirely to himself though.

Ah yes, I see that now. Is there any hard plastic plants? I know one of my decorations I needed to sand down the insides (a yellow submarine) because of sharp corners.

hahaha! The Tardis is cool.

But I don't understand why he would do that to himself. He was fine this morning when I went to work :( He's still active though, he's made a whole mess of bubbles at the top near one of the plants in the front and I fed him a bit ago, he ate every last pellet.

Could've been the filter intake. I would cover that with something like pantyhose or sponge.
