My male Betta has developed a "Bubble" on his side by his back fin. He can't swim straight so he swims sideways. I wrote in last month hoping someone could help me but no one answered and he is still "swimming". Can fish develope tumors or ulcers? Please someone let me know if you have had this experience and what I can do?

I'm sorry no one answered your previous post. Yes, bettas CAN get tumors but I don't know anything about tumors in bettas or how to treat them. Someone else will have to advise you on what to do. Good luck with your betta.

I have a female betta who developed a clear bubble right on her gill and it actually inflated/deflated as she breathes under water. The bubble makes her sort of bouyant so she has a difficult time swimming. I have not had any luck finding any sort of useful info online to help her. She has had the bubble for about two months now and she still eats all the time, swims as close to normal as she can, and acts as she always had. So I can sympathize with you, but I don't have any help advice. Please post anything you find. Good luck.
