New Betta! Typhoon!

I had gone to Petco yesterday with my friend and saw this adorable little guy there. Today I went back with my dad and got him. He is very skinny, and has a slight kink in his tail, but with love and care he should get a happy life ^^

I was definitely thinking about it XD I'm going to wait and see if I can get a better picture first. My camera decides that anything in water needs to be blurry XD Maybe if I tried the sports option on my other camera...

Lol agreed XD I dropped mine while in Spain last year on a tour....yeah, hasn't focused the same since then and it also does this weird thing where it won't start up but it will extend the lens thingy and then it won't go back >.<

Totally agree, new Betta's/tanks/plants/anything aquatic is so much more fun to buy than a stinky old camera XD haha

Cuuuuteee! Even though it's clamped, it's kind of cute how his tail crosses like that

Yeah, he's been clamping off and on since he came home. Still adjusting I guess, the poor thing is so skinny though. You can nearly see his insides, and I don't think he is cellophane. I took the picture several minutes ago, and now he is unclamped again XD He gets pretty freaked when I get near his tank, so that might be part of it. I don't think I've ever been this nervous about a new fish before, usually I only pick out healthy and active ones. This guy was kinda just floating at the top of his cup, though I did notice the start of a bubble nest in it. I'm such a paranoid fish mommy Dx

Haha, no worries! He's just settling in. I've had many like that, even my fish in my avatar, Rembrandt took nearly 2 1/2 weeks to get used to me :) But daily interaction is key and of course good food lol. Once they associate you with food, that's it, you're done for XD haha
