questions on using jungle buddies Fungus clear

Hi
I want to try this product to cure my Betta of his tail and fin rot but I keep reading it will stain the aquarium but no details are given. Anyone that has used this product please help me with some info on this staining. Does it go away, can it be removed from the tank or gravel after treatment? I have a 2.5gal Acrylic tank with under gravel filter and a heater.
Thank you
Arlie

I used it and it didn't seem to stain my acrylic.

hi dramaqueen
Thanks once more for a reply. I used the med I had for 5 days now and Bow's fins are getting worse so have to try something else. Reviews on this product sound
good.
Does it turn the water a dark color or anything like that?

It turned a very light shade of green. The tablet didn't dissolve 100% though, so maybe that had something to do with it.

My tablets dissolved all the way. It turns the water green, and I would guess it would stain any pure white silk plants, which I don't think are common so you should be fine. It did slightly "tinge" the seals on my glass, but since acrylic is denser, I should think you will be fine. Oh, and when I say tinge, it really isn't noticeable to anyone but me, that's how light it is. Good luck, this stuff has worked great for me. Keep us posted.

hi
Been busy for a few days so just made it back here. I have not used that med as yet. After 5 days of the first medication and a couple of 50% water changes my Betta is looking and acting much better. I think I can see the hint of transparent new growth on his fins, especially the two long thin ones coming down from his "chin"?
I am now giving him a little stronger med, to be certain he heals up, it is Maracyn
by Mazrdel.
Bow looks happy and active and starving all the time. I have to restrain from feeding him too much though as that is how I use to kill off my fish when I had an aquarium ages ago.
